Dmack Winter Safe

The Dmack Winter Safe non-studded winter tire is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars. This model is another novelty from the well-known English manufacturer, incorporating the latest technical developments. The size range does not have a large number of tire sizes, but all 12 sizes for wheels with a landing diameter of 15-18 inches are suitable for a huge number of modern passenger car models. The key design feature of this model is the increased depth of the tread pattern to 9.3 mm, which is a quarter more than most other winter tires.

Aggressive V-shaped tread pattern design

For this model, the company's specialists preferred to use a classic V-shaped directional tread pattern with a symmetrical arrangement of elements. However, in this variation, it differs significantly from its predecessor, in particular, with solutions borrowed from winter rally tires.

In the central part of the tire tread Dmack Winter Safe, there is a single longitudinal rib consisting of separate blocks of complex configuration, replete with sharp corners and long edges. Thanks to this technical solution, the contact patch has at its disposal a multitude of traction edges. This improved handling when driving on snowy surfaces.

The shoulder areas occupy a large part of the tread and consist of many separate rectangular blocks spaced at a considerable distance from each other. Thanks to this structure, the tire has acquired a number of important advantages. First of all, this is excellent stability on dry coatings. In addition, the massive size of the tread blocks allows for a more even distribution of pressure across the contact patch, which not only improved resistance to uneven wear.

It is also worth noting the arrangement of blocks in the shoulder areas of the tread. They are located almost at a right angle to the direction of movement. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates a short braking distance, especially on snow.
