The Delinte DV2 summer passenger tire is one of the new products of the Chinese company Sentury. This model is designed for vans, combining a high level of comfort, reliable traction on wet roads with a long service life, fuel efficiency, and significant carrying capacity.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning
The tread pattern features three longitudinal drainage grooves. These elements have a significant internal volume, which allows the tread to effectively remove water from the contact patch even in the most unfavorable weather conditions. This enables the tire to demonstrate excellent resistance to aquaplaning.
Asymmetrical lamellae
Two longitudinal ribs, located in the central part of the tread, contain numerous asymmetrical lamellae. These tread elements perform several functions at once. First and foremost, they divert water from the contact patch into one of the nearby drainage grooves, which further increases the tire's resistance to aquaplaning. Another function of these lamellae is to increase the stability of the traction properties during braking and acceleration. This is achieved not only by forming additional traction edges, but also by optimizing the distribution of external load on the contact patch.
Reinforced design of the shoulder areas of the tread
The shoulder areas of the tread are characterized by massive dimensions and the presence of numerous transversely arranged blocks. This design significantly increases the tire's stability in turns, as well as improves a number of other important operational properties. First and foremost, this is a reduction in braking distance, an increase in resistance to uneven wear.
Special S-shaped grooves in the shoulder areas
On the border of the tread with the sidewalls of the tire, there are continuous S-shaped grooves. These tread elements reduce the degree of heating during movement. This, in turn, reduces rolling resistance, as well as increases the service life of the tire.
