Optimized tread design
To achieve excellent driving characteristics, a new tread pattern was used, created using computer modeling. Three rows of unusually shaped blocks in the center of the tread provide confident directional stability and quick response to steering wheel turns. The shoulder area of the Definity Dakota H/T consists of massive blocks with powerful mud catchers. Due to this, maneuverability is increased and the risk of possible damage is minimized.
Three deep channels provide quick removal of dirt and water from the tread, preventing possible aquaplaning. Specially selected distances between blocks increase passability and prevent stones from getting stuck in the tread. When driving on soft or viscous soil, the tire provides confident handling, preventing wheel slippage, thereby reducing fuel consumption while driving.
To reduce noise while driving and increase traction on a wet surface, a new lamella system was used. Lamellas of different depths and shapes allow maintaining excellent traction throughout the entire service life of the tire.
Impact-resistant carcass
To prevent possible damage and breaks during tire operation in difficult conditions, a special impact-resistant carcass was used. It is made using a unique technology and consists of several layers of special cord. Due to this, the tire perfectly withstands increased loads and has a minimal percentage of damage and punctures. Also, the new carcass provides an even distribution of pressure inside, preventing uneven wear and increasing the contact patch. As a result, the tire's mileage and stability are increased.
