Description Cooper Vanmaster
The Cooper Vanmaster commercial winter tire was created using the experience gained in the development of models for passenger cars. They share a whole range of operational properties with them, from handling and traction on snow to a high level of comfort. In turn, the differences are durability and increased load-carrying capacity.
Winter-optimized tread pattern
The tread of this model is distinguished by a very original design, as it combines the features of both V-shaped and S-shaped tread patterns. From the first, this tire "inherited" a feather-shaped longitudinal rib in the center, and from the second - the arrangement of tread blocks, in which the contact patch has a multitude of transverse edges of a characteristic shape. The ultimate result of using a "hybrid" tread design is a combination of refined handling and good traction on snow with improved braking efficiency, excellent load-carrying capacity, and durability.
Ability to improve traction on ice
In its "basic" version, this model is not equipped with studs. However, they can always be installed, for which special holes for their mounting are provided on the tread. In the absence of studs, traction on ice is ensured by several thousand lamellas, mainly located in the transverse direction.
Special rubber compound
Another feature of this tire is the physico-chemical properties of the rubber compound of its tread. Thanks to the increased silica content, it remains elastic even in severe frosts, which allows it to provide reliable traction on icy surfaces.
Key features of the Cooper Vanmaster tire
- "hybrid" tread pattern design combines the advantages of both V-shaped and S-shaped treads;
- numerous lamellas improve traction on ice and rolled snow;
- possibility of installing studs;
- elastic compound at low temperatures improves traction on icy surfaces.
