Released globally by the world-renowned US manufacturer, the affordable passenger all-season tire Cooper Lifeliner SLE Sport is designed for a wide range of small and medium-class passenger cars.
The design of the symmetrical zigzag tread pattern is distinguished by its original appearance. The tread pattern consists of five ribs - three central and two shoulder ribs. In the development of the tread pattern design, computer-aided means were used, which made it possible to select the pitch of the tread elements and a comfortable for humans frequency of noise emitted during movement, which significantly increased the level of comfort. The rigid wide central rib provided the tire with excellent directional stability and responsiveness to steering wheel turns.
The two adjacent ribs of the Cooper Lifeliner SLE Sport tire improved the traction characteristics when driving on dry roads, and the zigzag grooves located on their surface provide traction indicators on slippery surfaces, for which the shoulder areas of the tread are also divided into separate blocks by transverse grooves. Thanks to the wide shoulder areas, it was possible to significantly reduce the likelihood of skidding when cornering, making the movement on these tires more stable and safe. In order to combat uneven wear, which leads to a significant reduction in the life of the tire, the shoulder areas have a rounded profile, which reduces the degree of deformation that occurs during lateral acceleration.
The composition of the tire's rubber compound is selected with consideration for long-term operation while maintaining all the main working characteristics of the tire and contains only high-quality components and additives. Due to this, the tire is distinguished by excellent elasticity at low temperatures, as well as excellent traction characteristics on various types of surfaces in any climatic conditions, and high resistance to wear.
