Description Cooper Evolution M/T
The Cooper Evolution M/T tire is designed for driving when the urban environment seamlessly transitions into light off-road exploration. It's not just a summer tire for crossovers, but a tool that transforms the chaotic energy of dirt trails into manageable dynamics on asphalt. Through a thoughtful tread architecture and compound composition, a dual effect has been achieved. The tire reads both loose soil and dense road surface with equal accuracy.
Design meets functionality
A key feature of the tire is its non-directional large-block tread design, borrowed from high-end winter tires. This strategic decision solves several problems:
- dynamic channels and open "slashes" effectively drain dirt, water, and small stones, preventing "clogging" of the tread and maintaining constant traction on wet soil and in mud;
- large, aggressive blocks with uneven edges create multiple working edges. This provides powerful grip on soft soil, sand, and gravel, minimizing wheelspin when starting and maneuvering;
- on asphalt, the same massive blocks form a stable contact patch, providing predictable handling and clear feedback.
Protection and durability
A reinforced carcass and sidewalls with additional layers of cord increase resistance to mechanical damage — punctures, sidewall cuts, and curb impacts. The increased tread height not only serves as a reserve for wear but also acts as an additional buffer, absorbing the irregularities of light off-road driving.
Drainage and control
The developed system of water-draining channels and sipes guarantees the rapid removal of large amounts of water, maintaining a high level of traction on wet asphalt and eliminating the risk of hydroplaning.
Key features of Cooper Evolution M/T:
- optimized performance on asphalt and light off-road without compromising key driving characteristics;
- non-directional pattern and elements with aggressive edges for confident movement on loose and dirt surfaces;
- a carcass of increased strength and tread height for optimizing resistance to damage and increased resource;
- an effective drainage system for safety on wet roads and the ability to quickly self-clean on off-road.
