The Continental TerrainContact A/T summer tire is designed for SUVs, pickup trucks, and crossovers. It is characterized by high reliability, improved traction on soft unstable soil, stability and precision when driving on high-speed highways, acoustic comfort, and increased mileage.

Improved directional stability

The tread pattern is divided into several functional areas. One of them is the central part, which contains three wide composite ribs. The rigid blocks that form them, being resistant to deformation, provide stability of traction when driving at high speed, practically not requiring any corrective movements of the steering wheel from the driver.

Reliability in handling when maneuvering

A significant part of the tread is allocated to the shoulder zones. They contain massive blocks with a trapezoidal profile. It makes them resistant to deformation under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. As a result, the tire has a significant margin of stability when maneuvering, providing the driver with the ability to accurately control the trajectory of the vehicle's movement.

Effective drainage grooves

The tread pattern contains numerous and multidirectional drainage grooves. The large volume and width of the elements allow them to intensively divert water from the contact patch, as well as effectively clean the tread from soil particles on off-road terrain.

Confident behavior on soil cover

A distinctive feature of the tread pattern is the presence of a large number of individual blocks. In the central part, they are arranged in groups of several elements each. This provides the contact patch with elongated and multidirectional high sharp edges, which allow the tire to effectively realize traction and braking force on any soil cover.
