The Continental ContiPremiumContact C summer tire is designed for use in compact passenger cars, including hybrid and electric powertrain modifications. It is characterized by stability on dry and wet surfaces, quiet and smooth ride, reduced rolling resistance, and extended service life.

The tire stands out with its tread profile, optimized to provide an elliptical contact patch with the road surface. This ensures a more even distribution of pressure, reducing rolling resistance, noise, and preventing rapid wear of the tread. This solution improves the stability of traction, especially when maneuvering, making it much easier to control the trajectory of the vehicle's movement. It is also worth noting the presence of special X-shaped protrusions in the longitudinal drainage grooves. They prevent the formation of vortices in the air flow, which are the sources of high-frequency noise. This significantly improves the level of acoustic comfort. Another important feature is the use of a special rubber compound. In addition to a large amount of "silica", it contains a complex of polymeric components that, at the molecular level, provide a uniform distribution of stiffness across the tread, reducing rolling resistance, preventing overheating of the tire during prolonged high-speed driving. This noticeably reduces fuel consumption, preventing rapid wear of the tire and the formation of cracks and tears in the tread.
