Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 ContiSilent
The summer tire Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 ContiSilent is a special modification of the same-name UHP model, which is distinguished by a higher level of acoustic comfort. In all other respects, both models are identical to each other, characterized by efficiency on wet pavement and comfortable handling.
The ContiSilent technology was used in the tire, which significantly reduces the level of noise and vibrations in the car's cabin. This became possible due to the polyurethane foam, a layer of which is applied from the inside of the tread. The porous structure of this elastic synthetic material effectively absorbs sound waves that arise during movement from the rolling of the tire.
The tread part of the tire is made from a rubber compound based on small crystals of silicon dioxide. This component gives the tire the ability to very tightly envelop irregularities on the road surface while simultaneously increasing resistance to tear and stretch. As a result, traction on wet pavement is enhanced and resistance to wear, punctures, and cuts is improved.
Key features:
- fine-porous polyurethane foam on the inside of the tread improves acoustic comfort;
- rubber compound based on small crystals of silicon dioxide increases efficiency on wet pavement and resistance to wear;
- comfortable handling due to the optimization of the tread pattern and its profile.

After the 20th diameter of Continental LH20 tires in size 275/55, these tires are noticeably noisier, harder, but handling and braking are very good, especially on wet roads or in the rain.
In general, everything is logical, these tires are high-speed, designed for good roads.
Comfort is significantly reduced due to the low profile.
In terms of quality, they are excellent, balanced with small weight loads from 45 to 70 grams per wheel, which is very good for such a diameter.- Vehicle:
