The summer tire Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 ContiSeal ContiSilent is a modified version of the popular tire from the German brand for passenger cars, differing from it in reduced noise and vibrations, reliability. It is characterized by excellent efficiency when braking on a wet surface, ease of handling and stability of traction properties during dynamic maneuvering, regardless of road conditions.

Increased reliability

This model uses ContiSeal technology. Thanks to it, the tire has gained the ability to independently eliminate punctures of the tread and carcass with a diameter of up to 5 mm. It is ensured by the presence of a special container filled with a special viscous material on the inner side of the tire. When a puncture appears, it is drawn into the hole, thereby restoring the tightness of the tire.

Improved acoustic comfort

Another significant advantage of this tire is the increased level of acoustic comfort. It is largely ensured by the ContiSilent technology. A layer of polyurethane foam is applied to the inner side of the tread. The numerous small cavities in this material, as well as its high elasticity, allow it to effectively absorb both vibrations and noises caused by the friction of the tires against the road surface. Their low level significantly increases the level of acoustic comfort, especially in terms of low-frequency rumble.

Silica-based compound

When manufacturing the tread, a rubber mixture based on silica is used. In combination with special polymers, this gives it not only elasticity at low temperatures but also strength and resistance to tearing. When driving, such properties of the compound provide the tire with excellent grip on a wet surface and the ability to maintain the integrity of the tread at high speeds, as well as increasing the tread's resistance to abrasive effects.

Increased contact patch

The carcass and shape of the tread are optimized so that under the load of the vehicle's weight, the contact patch is maximally increased - on average by 15% depending on the mode and speed of movement. At the same time, the load is distributed evenly across it. As a result, the traction properties have not only increased but also become stable, especially during maneuvering. In addition, the tread's resistance to abrasive wear has increased.
