DescriptionDescription Continental ContiMaxContact MC5
The Continental ContiMaxContact MC5 summer tire stands out for its balanced driving characteristics, making it a suitable option for most passenger car owners. It is characterized by stable traction, comfort while driving regardless of weather conditions, acoustic comfort, and high mileage.
The tread pattern of the tire has a profile with a specially selected shape. It significantly increases the contact patch, making it almost rectangular. This substantially improves the traction properties and their stability when maneuvering, ensuring comfort while driving. The tire remains so even in rainy conditions. Its tread is made from a compound based on "silica", which allows it to maintain elasticity at low temperatures. This significantly increases the tire's grip on cold, wet roads.
Key Features of Continental ContiMaxContact MC5
- Special tread pattern improves traction properties, their stability in turns, and provides comfort while driving;
- Improved traction on wet surfaces due to the increased "silica" content in the rubber compound;
- Special protrusions in the longitudinal grooves prevent the spread of sound waves, improving acoustic comfort.

Continental demonstrated excellent handling on both dry and wet surfaces, and they also received very high subjective ratings for comfort level. However, in the noise test, Continental rolling noise ranked second to last. This is something they still need to work on.
Very balanced tires that only lost to Michelin (and only due to noise level)
