High density of grooves

The possibility of using the tire, including in winter, is due to the presence in the tread of several thousand narrow grooves - lamellas. These elements, when in contact with the road surface, open, forming sharp edges. Their height is sufficient for the tread to easily penetrate the water film forming when driving even on an icy road. The enormous number of lamellas multiply enhances their effect, ensuring reliable grip.

Lamella-pumps

In the shoulder zones, in addition to standard grooves, there are special round lamellas. These elements, in a side projection, have a droplet shape. It allows such lamellas, when in contact with the road, to absorb and retain excess moisture from its surface, thus drying the contact patch. Due to the location of these elements at the very edge of the tread, the effect of their work is most pronounced when maneuvering.
