Tires of this brand are produced by the Barnaul tire plant (Altai tire complex), which was put into operation in 1960. At the initial stage, tire repair and technical workshops were launched. In 1965, the project production of tires was launched at the enterprise. In 1974, for the first time, the plant started manufacturing 34 models of tires intended for military and aviation transport. The 1990s for the enterprise were marked by a deep crisis, which the Barnaul tire plant was able to overcome only after five years. In 2001, the enterprise became part of the "Neftekhimprom" group.
During this period, the plant begins reconstruction and modernization of equipment, and highly qualified workers are being recruited. BSHZ is rapidly increasing its competitiveness and soon becomes one of the leading domestic tire manufacturers. In 2004, the Barnaul tire plant merged with the "Altai tire company" and a new enterprise OAO "Altai tire complex" was formed. The merger of the two enterprises contributed to the expansion of the range of all types of products and the strengthening of positions in the market.
Today, with confidence, we can say that OAO "Altai tire complex" is a large developing industrial enterprise, where more than 3,000 specialists work. The total area of the complex is 55 hectares. Most of the territory is occupied by workshops and buildings for production, where more than 80 different models of tires are produced. OAO "Altai tire complex" produces tires for passenger and cargo vehicles, aviation equipment, and agricultural transport.
The complex is the largest supplier of aviation tires on the Russian market. In this industry, the enterprise cooperates with 60 companies and commercial firms. The company plans to resume production of tires intended for military transport. In connection with this, a plan has already been developed to expand production and manufacture products with higher profitability.
BSHZ tires are supplied to the largest Russian automotive plants in Togliatti, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Samara, Yekaterinburg, and Orenburg. Close partners of the complex are plants located in Tashkent, Kazakhstan, Nizhny Novgorod, Ukraine, and Mongolia.
All products of the enterprise have a certificate that meets all the requirements of the State Standard of the Russian Federation and undergoes strict quality control.
Among the winter line of BSHZ tires, there is a possibility to choose studded and non-studded tires, as well as tires intended for all-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, or rear-wheel drive vehicles. The special composition of tires and the tread pattern provide high traction on snow and ice. Transverse lamellas on the sidewalls of the tire improve passability and provide effective drainage.
Most summer tires of this brand have a unique tread design created by the plant's specialists. The new design has a positive effect on the behavior of the vehicle when driving on wet pavement. Special water-repelling channels do not allow water to accumulate on the tires. A wave-cutting effect is formed, which minimizes aquaplaning.
All-season tires of the Altai tire complex combine all the advantages of summer and winter lines. Rigid tire blocks and lamellas make handling more smooth and confident, and also improve braking characteristics. BSHZ tires do not have studs, which has a positive effect on the comfort of movement. The use of unique materials in the composition of tires makes them durable, wear-resistant, and not susceptible to temperature changes.
Tires of the Altai tire complex are a guarantee of quality, reliability, and safety!
