Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport
The Dueler H/P Sport model is the latest standard in the production of tires for SUVs. The unusual aggressive design and excellent quality have made it one of the components of the basic equipment of popular cars.
This tire behaves predictably on any surface. It is an all-season tire that can be used both in winter and summer, but only in regions where the amount of snow is not very large. The Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport has stunning characteristics on wet roads, and the combination of UNI-T technology and high silicon content in the tire allows you to fully trust this tire.
Safety and reliability are at the highest level in this tire. The innovative design of the tire tread has made it possible to minimize the wear of the Dueler H/P Sport tire, while all other parameters have remained at the same level.
The roundness of the tire has also become better, as well as the quality of the tire on different coatings. A special composition of the rubber mixture provides good tire quality when cornering.
The Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport has replaced the Bridgestone Dueler H/P 680 model. The new model can be found both in free sale and in original basic equipment.
The "Sport" prefix in the model name is not accidental. In the model of the Japanese manufacturer, the center of gravity of the SUV is balanced, which allows for excellent handling. Four straight grooves on the tire tread provide excellent water drainage from the contact patch. Movement on water becomes perfectly smooth, and the risk of aquaplaning is reduced to a minimum.

I drive a 2008 X-trail. I replaced the awful Dunlop with a tire that's perfect for driving on asphalt and broken asphalt.
On a wet surface, it has good cornering stability and aquaplane resistance.
The braking on wet asphalt is good, but the wheels are very prone to losing traction quickly after ABS kicks in, which reduces braking effectiveness.
It's completely unsuitable for off-road driving, as the tread pattern becomes smudgy and the tire becomes slippery.

I bought them first in 12 years on a Prado 120. Rolled back 3.5 seasons. When selling the car, they were still the same. A new buyer calmly devoured the information that the tire was outdated for 2 seasons. The wear resistance at a car weight of 2.3 tons was very pleasing. After buying a Prado 150, there was no doubt in the choice of summer tires. One minus: it doesn't like the camber, as

I've covered 100,000 km on these tires, no complaints. The wear indicators started to appear. I'll be purchasing the same ones, hopefully the quality remains the same. I didn't drive on these tires during winter (I drove on winter tires) so I couldn't assess the handling in snow.

- Insufficient ride smoothness
high rolling resistance
- On both dry and wet asphalt, the lag in coupling properties from the leaders can only be recorded with the help of special equipment. And on the handling tracks, Porsche behaves very confidently, except that the transitions to skidding occur a bit sharper than on Michelin or Continental tires. Everything is in order with resistance to aquaplaning, as well as with "acoustics". And only the smoothness of the ride leaves much to be desired. Significant lag behind the leaders is noted only during tests for rolling resistance - here heavy Japanese tires traditionally lose to European competitors.
