Description BFGoodrich Route Control T
The BFGoodrich Route Control T commercial tire is installed on the trailer axle. It features a reinforced design, adapted for operation on high-capacity equipment and under other adverse conditions.
The tread pattern has an original design for tires in this class. It features five enlarged ribs, with composite elements in the central part, divided into blocks by narrow slits. The edges formed by these slits are arranged at an angle, resulting in improved longitudinal traction properties that are not only stronger but also more stable. Another feature is the increased shoulder ribs. Combined with the optimized tread profile, this makes the contact patch larger and distributes the load in the contact area with the road surface much more evenly. This improves both traction and wear resistance.
Main features:
- installed on the trailer axle;
- central ribs with angled slits enhance the effectiveness of the tread when slowing down on wet pavement;
- closed design of the shoulder areas, their increased size improves traction and wear resistance;
- high resistance to aquaplaning due to lamellas and wide grooves in the shoulder areas.
