The all-season tire BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S Plus is an updated model that differs from its predecessor only in the composition of the compound (the tread pattern has remained unchanged). At the same time, the tire has acquired improved traction, grip and braking performance on both dry and icy asphalt.
The model is positioned as a high-speed sports tire, designed for both track and urban use. The directional tread pattern with a large number of block structures and a high percentage of voids is able to effectively grip the road surface. This is largely due to the drainage system, which is represented by a wide circumferential central channel, lateral grooves of a cruciform shape, and thin lamella-like formations. Together, they not only remove contaminants from the contact area but also form a large number of gripping edges. Thanks to the latter, the braking and traction performance are improved. To this, it is worth adding a reinforced carcass that prevents deformation and maintains contact efficiency with the road surface.
