Tyres Berlin

The Berlin brand belongs to the German company Keskin Tuning Europa GmbH, founded in 2010. Until 2019, the firm specialized in the development and production of alloy wheels, and then the business was expanded through the addition of automotive tire and wheel distribution for passenger and commercial vehicles. The Berlin brand is one of the five brands owned by Keskin, and initially "specialized" in Ultra High Performance sports tires, and then this brand became used for High Performance tires and models for commercial vehicles of small capacity.

Currently, this brand is used in tires of the following categories:

- all-season tires;
- summer High Performance / Ultra High Performance tires.

Berlin all-season tires are designed taking into account the climatic conditions of European countries with their specific "warm" winters. Such tires are extremely effective on wet and snowy surfaces, providing reliable traction and ease of handling in such conditions. On dry cleared surfaces, the application of a tread pattern with a large number of lamellas, blocks, and grooves, and an elastic rubber compound, has a slight decrease in traction properties during dynamic maneuvering. When used daily, most drivers will not feel such handling features. This is largely due to the use of the same technologies and solutions as in classic summer tires.

Summer tires of the brand are distributed across three lines. Some High Performance category models have the word Eco in their name. Such tires are designed for daily use over a very long period. The use of a synthetic material carcass, progressive cord winding methods, reduces the weight of the tire, ensures resistance to deformation when driving at high speeds, reducing rolling resistance and preventing rapid tread wear.

The Ultra High Performance tire line consists of models that represent high-tech products with excellent operational characteristics. First of all, this is a sporty-tuned handling and stability at high speeds. Additionally, it is worth noting the use of a large number of solutions aimed at increasing comfort. Despite the orientation towards fans of dynamic driving style, these models are distinguished by good smoothness and low noise level.

A distinctive feature of the Berlin commercial tire line is that all of them are all-season models. The tires use a universal tread pattern with individually standing blocks, with a large number of "three-dimensional" lamellas. These features provide the tires with good traction properties on snow. It is worth noting the use of a "hybrid" carcass. It is a "layered cake" of synthetic and steel cords. This increases the tire's load capacity, its resistance to damage, reduces wear and rolling resistance.
