Белшина Artmotion Spike

The Belshina Artmotion Spike winter tire is used in compact passenger cars. It is available in one size - 195/60R15. It is adapted for operation in difficult winter climatic conditions of Northern European countries. It is characterized by confident behavior in the most difficult road situations, reliability, and high mileage.

In the "basic" version, this model is offered without spikes. However, the manufacturer has provided special holes for their installation in the tread area. They are arranged in such a way that when moving, the spikes form 6 longitudinal rows. This is enough to provide reliable traction properties on icy and rolled snow road surfaces. In addition to spikes, efficiency in such conditions is achieved by numerous lamellas. Here, bidirectional Z-shaped cuts are used, which, due to their shape and location at almost a right angle, significantly increase the traction force and shorten the braking distance.

It is worth noting the design of the drainage system. It contains wide grooves that are located both longitudinally and at a large angle and against the direction of motion. This solution allows minimizing the risk of aquaplaning and slushplaning, effectively cleaning the contact patch from both water and its heavy mixture with snow and road dirt.
