The directional tread pattern consists of numerous small blocks that form a continuous series of long V-shaped edges in the contact patch. This provides reliable traction on snow and wet surfaces. Closely spaced lamellas maintain it on more slippery icy surfaces. The use of a special compound in the manufacture of the tread, thanks to which it is possible to maintain elasticity at low temperatures, allows the tire to demonstrate stable traction on any winter surface.
