Avon WT1

The Avon WT1 winter tire is designed for operation on any snow-covered roads. It is characterized by stable traction and high traction on snow and wet pavement, efficient braking, ease of handling, and high passability.

The tread pattern is dotted with narrow slits - lamellas. The very dense arrangement of these elements provides a contact patch with hundreds of gripping edges, thanks to which the tire is able to accelerate and brake intensively on ice and compacted snow. The "three-dimensional" profile of the lamella walls, by increasing the rigidity of the blocks in which they are cut, provides precision handling and directional stability in such conditions. The optimized tread profile and rigid carcass enhance these properties on dry, cleaned roads.
