Avatyre Freeze (Нешип)
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Avatyre Freeze (Нешип)
The Avatyre Freeze winter tire belongs to the Chinese tire products of the so-called "new wave". It differs from what was previously released in China with more "advanced" operational properties. This is due to the use of experience and knowledge of foreign specialists, as well as technologies and equipment provided by the leaders of the global tire industry. These features fully apply to this model, which demonstrates excellent traction properties on any winter roads, as well as a number of other high characteristics.
Original V-shaped tread pattern
When developing this tire, the company's specialists used the experience of their colleagues from Goodyear, whose latest models are equipped with a tread without a pronounced central longitudinal rib. This is the key feature of the tread pattern design of this tire. It contains many individual blocks that form transverse rows, converging at a sharp angle in the center of the tread. This allowed the tire to have very high longitudinal traction properties, primarily on snow, and due to the significant stiffness of the blocks, directional stability, fast and precise reactions to steering wheel turns.
Reliable traction on ice
In addition to the blocks, numerous traction edges are formed by the lamellas cut into them. They are most effective on ice and rolled snow. In addition to them, traction on slippery surfaces is provided by spikes, which, due to the original tread design, are located not only along its edges but also in the central part. This allows the tire to demonstrate very reliable and stable traction.
Main features of the Avatyre Freeze tire
- the original V-shaped design with numerous transverse edges provides excellent longitudinal traction properties;
- numerous lamellas and spikes located in the center of the tread improve traction on rolled snow and ice.

Tires were purchased due to budget constraints, attractive price, and the sales consultant's recommendation. The result: after about 35,000km, there were no complaints about the tires, but after that mileage, they began to dig in and slip in areas where they previously handled well, particularly in deep snow on an uphill slope, and in snowdrifts. However, on asphalt, up to 35,000km, the tires behaved well, even now at a mileage of 50

Comparing these tyres with our current tyres from a cheaper brand, I've decided to stop and buy these. For this price, they're pretty good, the price-quality ratio is just right. Let's see how they hold up to wear and tear over time.
