The tread pattern is dotted with narrow slits - lamellas. Their sharpened edges allow for intensive acceleration and braking on wet pavement. The voluminous longitudinal grooves do not allow a continuous water film to form in the contact patch, ensuring reliable coupling even in heavy rain. Efficiency on dry roads is achieved by optimizing the tread profile. This expands the contact patch, increasing its area, which has a positive effect on both coupling and handling. The tire becomes very predictable, especially when changing direction abruptly.
