These elements increase the accuracy of control and stability in turns, ensuring a more even and significantly prolonged process of abrasive wear of the entire tread. The trapezoidal profile of the shoulder zones enhances these properties. It is worth noting the presence of special grooves on the sidewalls of the shoulder ribs. With their help, the unevenness of tread wear is additionally reduced, a smoother ride and resistance to aquaplaning are ensured.
