Atlander LanderStuds ATL78

The Atlander LanderStuds ATL78 winter tire is designed for use in passenger cars with enhanced dynamic properties. It is characterized by improved traction and directional stability at high speeds, increased accuracy in handling, as well as excellent traction and braking intensity on slippery, icy and snowy surfaces.

The tread pattern is made in the already classic "Scandinavian" design with a characteristic V-shaped arrangement of blocks, forming elongated transverse edges. In combination with their zigzag profile, this significantly improves traction and braking properties, especially on snowy roads. The aggressive angle of the elements provides reduced rolling resistance and good directional stability at high speeds. Another important feature of the tread is the presence of 190 to 212 studs. Their effectiveness is further enhanced by the optimized shape of the mounting holes, which prevents the steel elements from deviating and falling out. Around them, there are special zones that contribute to the crushing and removal of ice chips. The tire tread is made of a rubber mixture based on natural rubber and silicon dioxide. In combination with butadiene-styrene rubber, this gives the tire the ability to maintain elasticity at extremely low temperatures, as well as resistance to abrasive wear, punctures and cuts.
