The tread pattern has an aggressive directional design, "classic" for modern winter tires. The dense arrangement and large size of the elements increase the useful area of the tread, which improves traction and handling on dry pavement. The wide arrow-shaped rib in the center increases stability and steering accuracy at high speeds, improves fuel efficiency and resistance to wear. The massive modular blocks located on the edges of the tread provide high traction force on snow. Efficiency on particularly slippery surfaces is achieved by densely arranged lamellas and numerous studs.
