The Aosen trademark belongs to the Chinese company Doublestar. The company with a century-long history currently represents an international group of enterprises, the activities of which cover almost the entire cycle of tire production, from development to disposal. Among the company's assets, it is especially worth noting the Industry 4.0 factory, where the human factor is minimized. In addition, a significant part of the technologies used in tire products today were developed by Kumho. In 2018, the Chinese manufacturer acquired 45% of the shares of its South Korean "colleague", becoming the controlling shareholder.
A significant part of the brand's assortment is represented by tires for passenger cars. They are distributed across the following categories:
- for passenger cars;
- for crossovers and SUVs;
- for small-capacity commercial vehicles;
- winter tires.
Passenger tires are divided into two lines. One of them belongs to the High Performance category and is aimed at car owners who highly value the combination of comfort and safety. In turn, Ultra High Performance models are characterized by increased precision in handling, course stability at high speeds, which allows for a better feel of the dynamics of the most powerful versions of passenger cars.
Tires for SUVs and crossovers are also divided into two lines. One of them consists of models designed for paved roads, and the other consists of Mud Terrain and All Terrain tires with corresponding features in their design.
The presence in the Aosen commercial "passenger" tire line of several models is due to the specificity of road conditions. The HP602 model is better suited for roads with good road surface quality, providing reduced rolling resistance. In turn, the HP601 is more effective on wet and snowy roads due to the tread with a large number of lamellas and grooves, but at the same time, it is not as good in terms of fuel efficiency. As for the brand's winter tires, they are very similar to Kumho's South Korean models and are well suited for areas where the winter is not as harsh as in regions north of the Arctic Circle.
A fairly large number of models of the brand are represented by tires for trucks and buses of large capacity. All tires, to a greater or lesser extent, are specialized products, which explains the numerousness of this category. A common feature of all is the use of a full-metal carcass, which increases the tire's carrying capacity, its resistance to mechanical stress, reduces rolling resistance, and wear. In addition, Aosen truck tires are characterized by excellent wear resistance due to the use of high-tech compounds.
