Description Aonaite 897
Designed for installation on any axle of trucks and buses, the Aonaite 897 truck tire boasts very high performance characteristics at a traditionally attractive cost for Chinese tire products. This is not surprising, since this model is one of the latest developments from a well-known manufacturer from China. It favorably differs from most of its numerous predecessors in all operational characteristics, from traction to service life.
Universal tread pattern
The possibility of operation on any axle of trucks and buses is largely provided by the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. It consists of four longitudinal ribs, two of which are located in its central part, and the other two are its shoulder zones. Due to their functional purpose, they have significant differences in design.
Numerous lamellas in the central part of the tread
A key feature of the two longitudinal ribs located in the central part of the tread is the numerous transverse zigzag-shaped lamellas. When in contact with the road surface, they form additional traction edges. At the same time, the zigzag shape allows their walls to be tightly fixed to each other, which significantly increases the stiffness of the tread ribs. The result of these technical tricks is excellent traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction, high directional stability, and reduced rolling resistance.
Reinforced shoulder zones
Unlike the central part, the shoulder zones do not have any separate elements, which gives them increased resistance to dynamic deformation. In combination with massive dimensions, such a design increases the size of the contact patch, providing optimal distribution of external pressure on it, which, in turn, increases the carrying capacity and resistance to uneven wear.
Main features of the Aonaite 897 tire
- wide range of applications due to the possibility of operation on any axle not only of trucks but also of buses;
- low rolling resistance and excellent directional stability thanks to four wide longitudinal ribs;
- excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction provided by numerous traction edges formed by grooves in the shoulder zones and zigzag-shaped lamellas in the central part of the tread.
