The Aonaite 688 truck tire is designed for use on trailer axles of trucks engaged in intercity and interregional transportation. Multigroove tread pattern design

The choice of Chinese tire manufacturers in favor of a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern with an increased number of longitudinal grooves is due to the specific operating conditions of the tire on the trailer axle of trucks. It is for this reason that all six longitudinal grooves are distinguished by the absence of individual tread elements, which makes them highly resistant to dynamic deformation. Thanks to this, the Aonaite 688 tire demonstrates excellent directional stability and low rolling resistance.

Another advantage of this design is the optimal distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, which is characterized by significant dimensions and a practically rectangular shape. As a result, it was possible to significantly improve the carrying capacity and resistance to uneven wear and impact loads, as well as handling, which has become very stable and reliable.

Excellent traction on wet roads

This model is distinguished by excellent traction not only on dry, but also on wet roads. This was achieved due to the presence of a very efficient drainage system and a wavy shape of the tread grooves in the central part. The drainage system consists of five longitudinal grooves, which, thanks to the large depth of the tread, have a significant volume, allowing them to quickly remove almost any amount of water from the contact patch. In turn, the wavy edges of the tread grooves in the process of movement form numerous differently directed traction edges, providing the tire with additional traction on wet roads.
