The Amulet AU555 commercial tire is specifically designed for large-capacity buses used on urban and regional routes. It can be installed on any axle. It is characterized by improved traction and coupling properties on wet pavement, fuel efficiency, wear resistance, ride smoothness, and low noise level.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a reduced number of longitudinal ribs, down to four. This allowed them to be made more massive, thereby increasing stiffness. As a result, directional stability and handling accuracy are improved. The pair of central ribs contains numerous lamellas, which provide excellent traction and intense braking even on wet pavement. The numerous notches on the edges of the tread increase ride smoothness and acoustic comfort, preventing rapid development and uneven wear.
