Created by one of the leading domestic manufacturers, the Amtel Rapid River universal light truck tire is designed for small-tonnage commercial vehicles - light trucks, minibuses and vans, the operation of which is associated with frequent exits from the highway.
The key feature of the symmetric non-directional tread pattern is a pronounced off-road design, replete with massive blocks and lugs. The tread pattern, at the same time, is not complex and consists of two rows of blocks in the central part and two shoulder zones, which are also represented by two additional rows of blocks. This solution made it possible to keep the cost of the final product at a sufficiently low level, while providing excellent performance on various types of coverage.
The blocks located in the central part of the Amtel Rapid River tire tread are distinguished by their massiveness and complex polygonal shape, which provides excellent traction in all directions. In addition, the bidirectional arrangement of the blocks made it possible to improve traction not only when moving forward, but also backward. It is also worth noting the uneven step of the placement of the tread blocks, due to which the movement on a solid surface is characterized by a sufficiently low noise level.
Thanks to the equipment of the tire tread with separately standing blocks, this model received a very effective drainage system, which easily copes not only with the removal of water from the contact patch, but also perfectly gets rid of dirt and stones, which significantly increases the cross-country ability indicators.
Main features of Amtel Rapid River
- excellent cross-country ability is provided by the optimized design of the symmetric non-directional tread pattern with a large number of blocks and lugs;
- excellent performance of the drainage system allows for easy removal of water from the contact patch, and when driving off-road, the tread is perfectly cleaned;
- powerful lugs of the shoulder zones provide excellent traction when driving on unstable soils;
- excellent protection of the sidewalls from punctures and cuts, due to the large height of the tread pattern.
