Volex EXC – a model designed as a specialized tyre tool, where every element of the tread and carcass is subordinated to one goal — to maximize performance with minimal maintenance costs. It is installed on various types of loaders, excavators, and other special-purpose equipment.

Tread Architecture

The tread pattern is built from large wedge-shaped blocks, arranged crosswise relative to the longitudinal axis. This geometry creates a multitude of directional grips, which work both when moving forward and when turning. In the central part, the blocks merge into a solid rib. This element performs the function of a stabilizer, ensuring precise steering and instant response to wheel rotation. The driver gets a clear sense of the trajectory.

The blocks have an increased height and a massive base, which provides resistance to shear deformation. The wedge-shaped form also contributes to the even distribution of pressure in the contact zone, preventing local overheating and uneven wear.

Off-Road Capability without Losing Grip

The model is equipped with wide drainage channels. They work like evacuation routes — when the wheel rotates, dirt and water are removed from the contact patch, preventing the tread from clogging. As a result, the tyre retains its traction properties, both on smooth concrete floors and on loose soil, making the model versatile.

Balancing Elasticity and Abrasion Resistance

The development of the rubber compound for the tyre was carried out with consideration of two conflicting requirements: high wear resistance during frequent contacts with abrasive surfaces and sufficient elasticity to dampen shocks from unevenness. A special polymer composition with optimized technical carbon content was applied here. This allows the tyre to resist cuts and wear, while remaining flexible enough to maintain grip on wet and slippery surfaces.

Resistance to Deformation and Overloads

The carcass is made using radial technology with an increased layering rate, which provides high carrying capacity and resistance to lateral deformations. The reinforced sidewalls and breaker belt made of steel cord effectively counteract ruptures and delamination, excluding the tyre from failing in case of accidental impacts on obstacles.
