The Titan AG48V is a specialized agricultural model designed for installation on the drive axles of tractor equipment. The tire is intended for operation during basic field work, including plowing, cultivation, harrowing, and sowing, as well as during transportation operations on dirt and mixed surfaces.
Tread and Surface Interaction
The tread pattern is designed according to the classic agricultural scheme "herringbone" with diagonally arranged composite blocks. This configuration provides efficient transmission of traction force to the soil and confident movement of the tractor when working with mounted and trailed equipment. The pronounced edges of the blocks improve traction on dirt surfaces, especially if they are unstable and loose.
The voids between the elements contribute to the active self-cleaning of the tread from adhering soil and plant residues. This allows maintaining stable traction characteristics even when working on wet soils and after precipitation. The optimized tread profile also promotes more even wear during prolonged operation.
Design and Load Resistance
The carcass is designed to work under significant static and dynamic loads. The reinforced design ensures the preservation of the tire's shape and the stability of the contact patch when moving on uneven terrain. The robust sidewalls increase resistance to deformations and mechanical damage caused by contact with stones, roots, and dense clods of soil. In turn, the compound retains elasticity with temperature and humidity fluctuations, is highly resistant to abrasion, and contributes to increasing the tire's lifespan.
Key Features of the Titan AG48V:
- installation on the drive axles of tractors;
- classic "herringbone" tread for high traction;
- effective self-cleaning on wet and loose soils;
- reinforced carcass structure and increased sidewall strength.
