The area of application of the Samson R-1W IF tyre is high-power agricultural tractor equipment used for field work with wide-cutting equipment. The IF designation indicates the use of a technology that increases the flexibility of the carcass, allowing for a larger load to be transported at the same pressure, or reducing air pressure without decreasing load capacity.
IF technology for soil protection
The main advantage of the model is its ability to operate at reduced internal pressure. Due to the more elastic carcass, the contact area increases, which distributes the weight of the tractor over a larger surface. This reduces the depth of the rut and decreases soil compaction, allowing the soil to maintain its air permeability and improving the conditions for the development of the root system of plants. At the same time, the efficiency of traction force transmission increases, as the increased contact patch allows the machine's power to be fully utilized without significant wheel slip.
Improved performance on waterlogged soils
The tread pattern is distinguished by an increased block height, exceeding the indicators of standard models in this class. Such elements penetrate well into soft soil, creating a stable traction force during plowing, cultivation, and sowing. The wide gaps between them accelerate the removal of adhering soil, which allows the working edges to maintain their effectiveness even when operating on heavy clay soils and after precipitation.
Reliability in mixed operation
The radial construction of the carcass used in this tyre ensures stable tractor behavior not only in the field but also during transport trips. Such a cord is resistant to cyclic deformations that occur when moving with heavy trailers and mounted equipment. The wear-resistant rubber compound withstands contact with hard surfaces, maintaining the shape of the tread lugs and reducing the intensity of their wear. Thanks to this, the tyre is equally effective in handling seasonal field work and regular trips between remote areas of the farm.
Key features of the Samson R-1W IF:
- IF technology allows for increased load capacity or reduced working pressure, reducing soil compaction;
- deep tread lugs of the R-1W category provide high traction and rapid self-cleaning on wet soil;
- the radial carcass increases the contact area, improving traction force transmission and tractor stability;
- the wear-resistant compound maintains operational characteristics when working in mixed conditions.
