The basis is a radial carcass with a multilayer steel cord in the breaker. The intersections of the threads are minimized, so the tire does not overheat on long runs and does not lose its shape under maximum load. The steel cord is threads with a brass coating that provides adhesion to rubber. This design resists punctures from branches and sharp rocks.
Forest compound
The tread is made of Nokian's proprietary rubber. The composition introduces polymers with high resistance to cutting and abrasion, as well as antioxidants that block cracking. The tire does not become brittle in the cold and does not soften in the heat. You get stable traction on wet roots, clayey climbs and icy areas. At the same time, the compound retains the elasticity necessary for operation with reduced pressure in difficult areas.
