The specialized Primex Geomaster tyre is designed for equipment used in geological and geophysical exploration, including seismic survey vehicles. Its distinctive feature is a very wide profile with a dense block tread pattern. This combination helps heavy machinery move across weak-bearing ground, reducing soil compaction and surface damage.
Wide footprint
The large contact patch distributes load over a significant area. This reduces ground pressure and helps the tyre sink less into loose surfaces. For exploration equipment, this property is especially useful when travelling off prepared roads, where it is essential to maintain mobility of the heavy machine and limit the formation of deep ruts.
Dense block tread
The tread consists of numerous blocks positioned closely together. Large rubber segments form a broad support base, while the grooves between them create additional biting edges. Angled and transverse edges help transmit driving and braking forces to the ground. At the same time, the dense arrangement of elements matches the model's purpose: supporting a heavy machine on the surface without concentrating the entire load on individual narrow traction elements.
Resistance to tread damage
The model features a special rubber compound resistant to cuts and chipping. It helps maintain block integrity when in contact with stones and other hard inclusions in the ground. This is particularly important during field operations, where route surfaces are uneven and tread damage could limit further tyre use.
