The industrial tyre Galaxy LDSR 510 belongs to the radial tyres category OTR, being designed for wheel loaders and other special equipment operating on harsh rocky and gravel surfaces. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency where sharp stones, high impact loads, and intense abrasive effects are the main threats to tyres.
Maximum resistance to damage
The key advantage is enhanced protection against mechanical impacts. The tread of increased depth is made from a special rubber compound that effectively resists cuts, tears, and accelerated wear. The reinforced shoulder areas additionally protect the sidewalls when in contact with protruding rocks, and the massive blocks reduce the likelihood of the tread surface breaking down during intense loading cycles.
Design for heavy loads
The tyre features a all-steel carcass with High Turn-Up technology — the cord layers "extend" to the sidewalls, increasing their strength and resistance to deformation without significantly compromising ride smoothness, allowing for a stable contact patch to be maintained under high loads. The optimized breaker construction promotes efficient heat dissipation, preventing premature cracking of the tread.
Traction properties on complex surfaces
The tread area is designed in a non-directional pattern, consisting of massive blocks that form continuous diagonal working edges, which increase traction on loose unstable surfaces. Their inclination reduces heat buildup and rolling resistance, promoting a more even distribution of pressure across the contact patch, preventing abrasive wear.
Key features of the Galaxy LDSR 510:
- belongs to the OTR category and meets the requirements of class L-5, demonstrating maximum efficiency on harsh highly abrasive rocky and gravel surfaces;
- the all-steel carcass with High Turn-Up technology provides resistance of the sidewalls and tread to damage;
- the increased tread depth in combination with a robust compound reduces the risk of punctures, cuts, and tears;
- the non-directional "block" pattern maintains high traction properties when moving in both directions, increasing the performance of wheel loaders and bulldozers.
