The BKT Power Trax HD Smooth tyre is designed for transporting heavy loads in ports and underground mining operations. This model is used on forklifts, container handlers, and underground machinery. Its diagonal construction is combined with a smooth tread and special sidewall protection.
Smooth tread
The Smooth version features a solid working surface without grooves or individual tread lugs. The wide tread smoothly transitions into the shoulder areas. This continuous tread design suits the tyre’s purpose on loading and industrial equipment handling heavy loads.
Damage resistance
The robust tread and sidewall protection are engineered to reduce the risk of cuts and punctures in demanding work environments. The manufacturer also highlights resistance to chunking. These features help maintain tyre integrity when operating on port surfaces and in underground workings, where contact with sharp edges and foreign objects may occur.
