The BKT Earthmax SR 46 special tire is designed for rigid-frame quarry trucks. It is calculated for long and intensive use on solid rocky soils. It is characterized by increased strength and resistance to damage, good traction and coupling properties on loose surfaces.
The tire uses a all-steel carcass with an optimized structure and a cord made of steel wires of increased cross-section. This provides the tire with effective protection against impacts, punctures, chips, tears, increasing its mileage and performance. The tread pattern consists of massive blocks that form virtually continuous transverse edges of a Z-shape. This design provides excellent traction and stability at high speeds. The partial overlap of blocks in the central part significantly reduces heat and rolling resistance, especially during prolonged movement with high load at high speeds.
