Belshina Bel-245 is an agricultural tyre designed for machines, equipment, and trailers. The model is intended for off-road operation and combines high load-carrying capacity with gentle impact on soil. The wide tread with frequent lugs promotes self-cleaning, while its pattern is engineered to reduce rolling losses.
Soil load distribution
The wide running surface creates an extensive contact area. Load is distributed over a large surface, helping to reduce localized ground pressure and damage to the topsoil layer. The manufacturer also highlights the ability to operate under high loads at relatively low internal pressure. This feature is beneficial for agricultural transport, where loaded machinery travels across fields. Pressure should be selected according to operating conditions and wheel load.
Lugs extending to the shoulders
The tread consists of long, curved elements extending from the central zone to the edges. Their transverse and angled edges provide grip on soil, while open gaps allow soil to escape. Self-cleaning helps maintain effective cutting edges when moving over loose surfaces. The dense arrangement of elements in the center simultaneously ensures a large contact area.
Reduced rolling losses
The tyre tread geometry is designed to reduce rolling resistance. When moving agricultural equipment, this helps lower energy consumption and fuel usage. The effect is enhanced by the tyre's ability to maintain ground support: reduced surface indentation is also beneficial for transport work in the field.
