The Barnaul Forward 140 tire is designed for use on wheeled excavators, cranes, loaders, and graders. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on medium and soft ground surfaces, standing out in such conditions with increased traction and resistance to lateral slippage.
The tread pattern is made in an open design with significant voids between the elements. This allows the tire to avoid "clogging" even on waterlogged ground surfaces, providing it with a pronounced ability to self-clean. Another important feature is the V-shaped arrangement of the blocks. This increases the traction properties, primarily on unstable bulk surfaces. In the central part, the blocks, overlapping each other, form a continuous edge, reducing fuel consumption and preventing overheating of the tire, especially when moving on hard surfaces at high speed. It is worth noting the design of the shoulder blocks, a significant part of which "extends" to the sidewalls of the tire. The edges located there provide additional grip on the ground, in particular, facilitating exit from the rut.
The main features of Barnaul Forward 140:
- a tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of blocks provides stable traction properties on ground surfaces;
- significant voids between the tread elements, and the location of a significant part of them on the sidewalls, significantly increase the tire's passability on soft ground coverings;
- a composite longitudinal edge in the central part reduces the rolling resistance and heating of the tire when working on hard surfaces;
- the profile of the tread, allowing to significantly increase the contact patch when reducing the air pressure inside, thereby ensuring the possibility of movement on soils with low bearing capacity
