The area of application of the ATF Rocktrax AT-216 E3/L3 is special equipment for the construction and mining industries, used for a wide range of loading and earthwork operations. First and foremost, this includes front loaders and graders. The manufacturer positions the model as a solution for operation on rocky, gravel, and mixed surfaces, where resistance to mechanical damage and high traction are particularly important.
Tread for heavy conditions
The tread pattern is made to the E3/L3 standard and features wide, massive blocks, an increased contact area, continuous S-shaped edges, and deep grooves. This configuration provides confident transmission of traction force on loose soils, rocky terrain, and compacted gravel, while also increasing the machine's resistance to lateral slippage. The large gaps between the elements facilitate effective self-cleaning from dirt, stones, and other contaminants, allowing for stable traction and grip properties to be maintained.
Reinforced construction
The tire uses a carcass that represents a multi-layer diagonal cord, in which, in addition to steel threads, nylon fibers are used. This structure reduces the weight of the tire, prevents it from overheating during prolonged movement, and provides increased resistance to punctures and cuts. These properties are further enhanced by a specialized rubber compound, which, in combination, gives the tire significant reliability and operational life in the most severe conditions.
Stability of traction characteristics
The tread is distinguished by a significant width of the tread and a profile, due to which uniform pressure distribution is achieved, increasing the stability of the traction properties. At the same time, the stiffness of the tread blocks and sidewalls limits the deformation of the tire under load, which not only improves the traction and grip properties and minimizes the risk of equipment tipping, but also reduces the abrasive effect on the tread.
Key features of the ATF Rocktrax AT-216 E3/L3:
- The E3/L3 class tread provides high traction force, stability, and effective self-cleaning;
- The reinforced diagonal carcass with nylon cords increases resistance to impacts, punctures, and cuts;
- The wide contact area promotes even load distribution, improving the stability of the equipment and reducing the wear rate;
- Special rubber increases the service life of the tire during constant operation on rocky and abrasive surfaces.
