In the heavy-duty special equipment segment, the tyre operates in conditions close to extreme: sharp rock fragments, temperature fluctuations, constant contact with abrasive soils, and colossal torque. ALT A260 is a model designed for installation on the driving axle of equipment operating in off-road conditions and on industrial sites.
Effective grip
The tread pattern is designed according to a special scheme for improved traction. Medium-sized, widely spaced lugs form an active fixation zone, allowing the equipment to move confidently on loose, waterlogged, and rocky surfaces. Wide drainage channels between the blocks remove dirt and water, ensuring effective self-cleaning of the profile.
Carrying structure and compound
Operation on the driving axle involves constant peak loads, jerks, and contact with sharp fractions. The special compound is adapted to high temperatures and abrasive wear. The reinforced structure with high layering (22 PR) provides a strength reserve necessary for operation in quarry conditions. This solution effectively resists local damage.
Strength reserve
The load index of 173 means that each tyre can withstand up to 6500 kg - this is a serious reserve, allowing the use of the tyre on all-wheel drive dump trucks and specialized equipment with a high curb weight. The radial structure provides a uniform distribution of load, reducing tread wear and extending the service life. The possibility of using the tyre in a tubeless version simplifies maintenance and increases the "survivability" of the tyre in the event of punctures.
