The Shinko SR901 motorcycle tire is designed for quad bikes and other motocross vehicles that allow the use of tires with sizes AT24x9-11, AT24x10-11, AT25x12-9, AT25x10-12, and 18x7.00-7. This range of sizes provides excellent usability for this model. Among its other features, it is worth noting its excellent adaptability to off-road use, which is expressed not only in the tread pattern but also in the tire's design.
Arrow-shaped blocks
Since the Shinko SR901 model was initially designed for use on sandy and earthy soils, the company's specialists preferred to use a V-shaped tread pattern, which is highly effective in such conditions. It is largely formed by numerous arrow-shaped blocks located in the central part of the tread. The placement scheme, as well as the complex polygonal configuration, allow these blocks to provide excellent traction and adhesion properties in the longitudinal direction.
Excellent off-road performance
Among the other features of the tread pattern of this model, it is worth noting the great height of the blocks, as well as the significant distance between them. The substantial depth of the tread allows its elements to cling much better to unstable surfaces. At the same time, the large distance between them provides fast and efficient cleaning of the tread pattern from large foreign objects and soil particles. Due to this, the tread does not "clog", which allows it to demonstrate excellent off-road performance, regardless of the characteristics of the surface.
Main features of the Shinko SR901 motorcycle tire
- The tire was specifically designed for quad bikes;
- The original V-shaped symmetrical tread pattern is optimized for use on sandy and earthy surfaces, where it demonstrates maximum performance;
- Massive arrow-shaped blocks in the central part of the tread pattern provide high traction and adhesion characteristics in the longitudinal direction;
- The flat profile maximally increases the size of the contact patch and also provides a more even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch;
- Excellent self-cleaning properties of the tread due to the significant distance between the blocks;
- Block structure, thanks to which the contact patch has a large number of differently directed edges of adhesion at any given time.
