The tire was designed for drivers who demand two things from their scooter: lightning-fast response to the handlebars and confident handling at out-of-town speeds. The narrow profile reduces rolling resistance and makes it easier to lean into turns, while the reinforced construction eliminates the fear of rutting.
Symmetry with an emphasis on water drainage
A symmetrical scheme is used here. For a scooter that leans equally often to the left and right, such a tread pattern provides predictable behavior in both directions. In the center of the tread — a pronounced longitudinal rib. Its task is to ensure directional stability and serve as a support surface when braking.
From the rib, a multitude of diagonal grooves diverge to the sides. This network works as an efficient drainage system. When entering a puddle, water is instantly squeezed out through the grooves, and the central rib does not lose contact with the asphalt.
Rubber compound
For the tire, a mixture with an optimal silica content and high-molecular-weight polymers was developed. Silica improves grip on wet surfaces and reduces heat generation during rolling. The polymer composition provides elasticity at low temperatures and resistance to wear in the heat.
