Description Mitas Touring-Force SP
Despite its name, the Mitas Touring-Force SP tyre is designed for a wide range of modern motorcycles — from touring to city bikes without aerodynamic fairings. In the model lineup, it is positioned one step above the Touring Force, being oriented towards a more dynamic riding style, while still retaining the possibility of use for long-distance trips. Compared to the "standard", it stands out with faster reactions, stability of grip in turns and on wet surfaces.
Tread pattern geometry for active riding
The directional tread pattern features a wide solid rubber strip in the central part and curved drainage grooves that "open up" to the shoulder areas. At the same time, they do not reach the very edge of the tread, ensuring the stability of the bike at maximum lean angles, significantly adding to the stability of grip on wet surfaces.
Balance of tread life and grip
The model uses MCTT technology, which involves the use of several rubber compound compositions. The central part is designed for long trips on highways and wears out more slowly, while the shoulder areas are made of a more elastic compound for effective tread operation at large lean angles. The high silica content in the composition of both rubber compounds allows for reliable grip not only on dry surfaces but also in rainy weather and at low temperatures.
Lightweight construction and precise reactions
One of the features is the lightweight construction of the carcass, which is a multi-layer cord made using modern synthetic materials. The reduction in weight has a positive effect on the speed of the tyre's reactions to the biker's actions. The carcass remains resistant to deformation at high speeds, providing the motorcycle with stability, both during longitudinal accelerations and when moving along long curves.
Key features of the Mitas Touring-Force SP:
- MCTT technology combines increased wear resistance of the central zone with a high level of grip in the shoulder areas.
- The lightweight construction of the carcass provides quick responses of the tyre to the biker's actions, making the handling process easier;
- The directional tread pattern with a developed system of drainage grooves supports reliable contact with wet asphalt and reduces the likelihood of aquaplaning;
- The universal concept of the model allows it to be used equally effectively for everyday use and for dynamic trips on winding roads.
