Motorcycle tyre Mitas Enduro Trail XT is designed for owners of touring "enduro" and Adventure category bikes. The model is oriented towards use, 30% of which is on public roads and 70% off-road. The manufacturer has managed to provide high performance on dirt, without completely sacrificing comfort on the highway. Moreover, there is an option to vary this balance in both directions due to the presence of two variants of the rear tyre in the lineup - standard Heavy Duty and Dakar with a reinforced carcass and increased tread life.
Tread pattern that reveals itself off asphalt
The tread pattern is made with large bucket-like blocks, spaced at large intervals. This design allows for confident grip on loose dirt, sand, and mud, while effectively self-cleaning from adhering particles. The contact patch profile increases the contact area, improving the motorcycle's stability on rocky roads and gravel.
Reinforced version for long routes
The standard version is equipped with a Heavy Duty carcass, designed for intensive use in mixed conditions. For the most demanding trips, the Dakar modification is offered with a stiffer construction and a special Ultra Heavy Duty compound. The reinforced carcass more effectively resists punctures and damage, and the tread life of this version can be approximately 20% higher compared to the standard tyre.
Universality for expeditions
The model, although designed for the rear wheel, combines well with Mitas front tyres, which have a more "road-oriented" tread pattern. It retains its effectiveness on highways, maintaining stability at high speeds, and then allows for continued movement on dirt without preparation. It is this universality that makes the model a successful choice for long trips, where the road surface can change dozens of times in one day.
Key features of Mitas Enduro Trail XT:
- the 30/70 ratio makes the model an effective choice for trips with a predominance of off-road use;
- the bucket-like blocks of the tread pattern provide high traction on mud, sand, gravel, and rocky sections;
- the Dakar version features a reinforced carcass and increased tread life, allowing for more confident overcoming of complex routes;
- compatibility with tubed and tubeless setups expands the possibilities of application.
