Michelin City Grip GT - a motorcycle tire installed on the front wheels of a wide range of scooter equipment. The model belongs to the "rain" variety, so it provides reliability of grip on wet asphalt, ensuring precise handling.
The product uses the technology of "progressive lamellas" that start in the central zone and reach the sidewalls. This design provides several features at once. Firstly, it is a good grip on any surface, achieved by the presence of a large number of gripping edges. Secondly, it is a quick water drainage from the contact zone and minimization of aquaplaning. The sharp edges of the lamella grooves cut through the water film.
The tread profile is designed to maintain the shape and size of the contact patch at any tire lean angle. This ensures confident grip, including on wet surfaces.
The rubber compound also has its own characteristics, which have affected the reduction of rolling resistance and the reduction of abrasive wear.
Main features:
- installed on scooter equipment (front wheel);
- provides confident handling on wet asphalt;
- the drainage system effectively copes with any water volumes;
- has a minimal level of wear during intensive operation due to the specificity of the compound.
