The Kenda K6702 Cataclysm motorcycle tire is designed for the heaviest 2-wheeled vehicles — "tourists" and "cruisers". The model is designed for long-term movement at high speeds, up to 130 km/h. In such conditions, in addition to excellent stability and traction, it is characterized by a long service life and a soft ride.
The tread of the tire is made of two compounds. A more elastic rubber compound is used on the edges, which increases traction when turning. In turn, the central zone, which occupies about 50% of the tread, is made of a more rigid compound. This increases stability at high speeds, reduces rolling resistance and wear. Another important feature of the tire is the reinforced carcass. Its design with increased carrying capacity allows the tire to easily handle the significant load from the weight of heavy motorcycles.
