The Kenda K404 motorcycle tire is designed for karting. It represents a racing "slick" designed for use exclusively on racing tracks. It is offered in three variants with different hardness levels of the rubber compound and, accordingly, with different ranges of "working" temperatures. Regardless of the version, it differs in a balanced balance between traction properties and resistance to wear.
The tread is devoid of any pattern, which is due to the need to provide maximum contact patch sizes. Additionally, the profile of the tire's tread was optimized for these purposes. At the same time, the contact patch not only increased but also took a nearly rectangular shape. This solution provides uniform pressure on the road surface, which increases the stability of the traction properties and minimizes uneven wear, increasing the tire's mileage.
