The Continental ContiTrailAttack 2 motorcycle tire was specifically designed for large touring and enduro bikes. Its construction was created with the aim of providing maximum performance on highways, which somewhat limits its scope of application. However, this does not mean that this model is absolutely helpless off paved roads. It's just that these capabilities are quite seriously limited.

Since this tire was created primarily for use on high-speed highways, its carcass has a lot in common with sports models. This applies to the structure of the steel cord, the threads of which are arranged parallel to the direction of movement. This solution provides the tire with excellent resistance to dynamic deformation, as well as excellent strength. As a result, it demonstrates stability even at very high speeds, while also being able to withstand the load created by heavy touring bikes and enduro without any problems.
In addition, the rigid carcass contributes to a more even distribution of external weight across the contact patch, which remains stable regardless of road surface characteristics and driving mode. With its help, the stability of the traction properties is ensured, regardless of the angle of inclination of the motorcycle. This is achieved due to the changing curvature of the tread profile, thanks to which the contact patch remains stable in any conditions.
TractionSkin technology
This term hides an innovative manufacturing process, one of the distinctive features of which is the use of the latest press molds. Their patented design makes it possible to do without vulcanizing the rubber mixture, preserving all its initial physical properties.
RainGrip rubber compound
The next beneficial difference of this model is the RainGrip tread rubber compound. Its composition includes the latest silicon-containing components, including new-generation elastomers. Thanks to this, as well as the TractionSkin technology, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties on wet roads, and also resistance to abrasive wear.
